Improving Performance Efficiency Among SMEs Via Accrual Accounting Systems - Essay Example In direct connection to the previously mentioned, bookkeeping and hierarchical administration researchers have established that the correct bookkeeping programming bundle can generously add to authoritative execution and the expansion of productivity and adequacy (Hirst and Hopkins, 1998). In clarifying the significance of choosing bookkeeping programming, Johnston (2003) features the idea of planning as opposed to bookkeeping. Line-based money bookkeeping programming bundles are just equipped for estimating a company's budgetary presentation and position. Gathering based bookkeeping bundles, then again, satisfy that work notwithstanding the more significant budgetary one. Through the previous, SME's may decide, their money related position, yet are offered access to important information on the ideal division and dissemination of authoritative assets. In spite of the fact that, in this exceptionally evolved economy, there is not really a SME which doesn't deal with its records using bookkeeping programming, few comprehend the goals of receiving a collection based bookkeeping bundle as would help in the appropriation of a budgetary procedure which, in itself, will generously add to effective hierarchical execution and acknowledgment of key targets. As of now, there is a convergence of bookkeeping programming dad... As of now, there is a convergence of bookkeeping programming bundles custom-made to the requirements of different clients. The more noteworthy larger part of these bookkeeping bundles, as referenced by Bresnahan et al. (1998), depend on the conventional money based, line-bookkeeping framework because of the superseding recognition that this specific bookkeeping framework is the simplest to use, from one viewpoint, and the most mainstream among SMEs, on the other. In any case, the market likewise gives a decision of gathering based bookkeeping programming bundles, principally utilized by the bigger associations (Bresnahan et al., 1998). These bundles execute both bookkeeping and budgetary capacities. Notwithstanding, SMEs are frequently hesitant to receive them, expecting that they are hazardous to actualize and hard to use, from one viewpoint and that the size of their business concerns and exercises doesn't require the embracing of a budgetary procedure. American Revolution or Evolution

Doesnt it captivate one that a solitary word could bifurcate researchers and make groups among the savvy. Tort quoâ © (why? ) there must be an explanation and there is! The appropriate response is straightforward yet balanced: Perspective. Albert Einstein, (the renowned physicist) most recollected by his hypothesis of relativity, reasoned that separation and time were not total. History lives In a similar specialty. It Is in excess of a sequential record of past occasions of a period or a business or improvement of a people, an establishment, or a spot. In any case, what it isn't is total. It is constantly left upon understanding, examination, investigation, testing and contemplating. The recognition or viewpoint increased through such thorough procedures is likewise dependent upon the base of an antiquarian. It Is extremely phenomenal to discover history specialists sharing their bases of beginning learning and along these lines the impact of their own time, age, environmental factors and childhood should likewise be assessed. An upset, characterized by Encyclopedia Britannica Is: a significant. Unexpected, and henceforth regularly a vicious modification in government and in related affiliations and structures. On the other hand Oxford word reference characterizes an advancement as: the progressive improvement of something, particularly from an easy to an increasingly unpredictable structure. Let us choose the utilization of the word Revolution, which one can wander out to state, could be dated from the year 1775 with Its Ignition being the skirmish of Lexington and Concord and finish being the approval of the constitution of the states In 1782. Apparently simple doesnt It? It doesnt truly react to how on a very basic level did the considerations, standards, belief system and mentality of a 2. 5 million occupants change and prompted the chain of occasions that got known as the American Revolution. What I trust Is that no individuals over the span of history have ever opposed a specific state, condition or Ideology without a development of complaints, disdain or a steady move of disposition towards tolerating a superior sadomasochism. Gives up back to the mid seventeenth century when migrations started to occur into the New World. Crowds of people involving German, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Jewish plummet and also the French Hugeness, started filling the terrains so as to escape from the chains of the Old World. They didn't have any progressively a craving for its ceremonies, its citrines, Its controling of call freedoms, and for the most part the average cost for basic items In It, One can even of the previously mentioned causes . So it is proper to state that a seventeenth century Europe was in upset. Gives up further with this hypothesis and state that the settlers arriving at the New World were progressives. Right around 1 50 years of Paxar Americana (utilized carefully in setting with the timeframe and not as per current utilization) so to state was appreciated by the pioneers. During this time, a few changes unalterably took place. This is obvious from the way that the language that the sorority of the workers initially talked had developed into an alternate vernacular. So from this we can likewise endow upon the conviction that close by phonetics political and financial changes did likewise occur. A political change that really started with the relocations was the ascent of a political belief system known as Republicanism. In fact governed by Great Britain or all the more precisely investigated, the settlements rehearsed the arrangement through their town lobbies and city committees. Famous instances of such republican instruments were the Virginia House of Burgesses and theMassachusetts Assembly. These were controlled by either delegate or direct majority rules system. The image of majority rules system at the time was viewed as the House of Commons in England, anyway it seemed more than repudiating to have the Bucking Palace transcending high in the very nation. The homesteaders gave their loyalties to the ruler but since of the way that it was somewhat contingent. In spite of the fact that they didn't understand it nor was it officially proclaimed however they stayed meek in light of the fact that they were never altered by British legislations. They had during this time, evaluated their own standards, made their own arrangement of Jurisprudence, law, Justice, techniques for exchange, trade, instruction, horticulture and so forth. When after the French and Indian war, the British started effectively taking an interest in the previous counted pioneer segments of society; it wouldve clearly been not gotten happy handedly by the Colonists as it didn't. Lets presently look at the monetary advancement that occurred to guarantee Americas Independence. The multi year old period was regarding exchange and business authored as a time of helpful neglect. For the pilgrims it brought monetary success and industrialization. For the British it was messing themselves up. Deliberate remiss so as to show the gratefulness for financial opportunity while controlling the strategy of mercantilism. Does it bode well? One would address Robert Walpole mental stability between the entirety of this; anyway he isn't our subject of concern. What you will so plant so will you procure; an extremely old and went around saying isnt it? Yet, it makes sense in the unique situation. The British for an extensive stretch of time followed the approach and he homesteader making the most of its benefits.Smuggling was nothing out of nowhere, exceptionally normal. Other European countries likewise profited by it, the Colonial horticulture items, for example, roughage, wheat, grain, maize and cotton were esteemed profoundly in remote markets. At the point when the British irritated at Colonial determination to make good on charges, passed the writs of help; there was a shock. There must be one, as it did, pirating was not endured any longer and a progression of income age made because of remote exchange deteriorated. How were the dealers to maintain their organizations without the reclaim of exchanging being permitted to them as it had consistently been?Hence there was an objection by the traders who failed because of such enactment. Some place or another. The nation was not in any way acquainted with charges; by and by it is important to make reference to that when we talk about being not being altered for right around 150 years it is implied more than it sounds. Residents in Britain were obliged to make good on charges, anyway their brethren in the New World were most certainly not. I do on occasion accept that total opportunity adulterates completely, there ought to be a few saddles or harnesses placed n so as to let respectfulness root in or for this situation for rule to sustain. When out of nowhere presented to coordinate assessments, for example, Stamp Act and Sugar Acts for what reason would it not cause destruction with in the settlers? It would prompt asperity towards the crown as it did, it would prompt mass fights as it did and would prompt cutting off of ties as it did. First and foremost I expounded on how a verifiable occasion is dependent upon autonomous understanding. How history specialists might concede to something i n light of the various components forming the state of the reason for their knowledge.I must admit that it isn't subjective and applies to myself as it does to some other person. I accept that development without upset is weak and unrest without advancement visually impaired, fundamentally the same as the thing Einstein said about religion and science. One thing is for sure however, nothing is ordinarily progressive. There must be contact to sire fire. During the multi year time span transformative changes in political convictions, social strategies and financial components took place in any case the settlers wouldve never equipped themselves to teeth and lifted the banner of upheaval.

Race And Ethnicity Are Affected By Stratification - 938 Words

Many people including me before I took this class thought they were the same thing. Racial groups are a group that is socially set apart because of obvious physical differences. An example of this is I come from Somalia but in the United States my race would be defined as black or African American. Ethnicity or ethnic groups are groups set apart from others because of its national origin or distinctive cultural patterns. An example of this is although my race is defined as black or African American my ethnicity is Somali. Race is a socially constructed concept. There is no biological meaning behind it. Race was constructed to give power and resources to a certain group of people, which are called the dominant group and majority group. The minority group on the other hand is a subordinate group whose members have significantly less control or p ower over their own lives. Minority statues is not due to being out numbered but rather having significantly less life opportunities for success, education, wealth, and the pursuit of happiness. Taxation Study Manual and Analysis †Free Samples to Students

Question: Discuss about the Taxation Study Manual and Analysis. Answer: Introduction: The major issue is to find whether the Chilean Citizen who is also designated permanent resident of Australia and residing in foreign country (Indonesia) due to employment contract would be considered Australian resident for tax purpose or not. Further, the second objective is to determine the various tax provisions that would be used for the taxation of the income received by Kit during the income tax year. The two main subsections of section 6-(5) of Income Tax Assessment Act 1997, which describe the tax liabilities on the amount of income received by individual taxpayer, are highlighted based on the tax residency status of taxpayer. According to Section 6-5(2), ITAA 1997, the income that is received from foreign land and from Australia could contribute to the taxable income if the individual taxpayer is classified as a Australian tax resident. Further, only the income that is received by taxpayer from Australian sources could contribute to the taxable income when the taxpayer is a foreign resident as per the provisions of section 6-5(3), ITAA 1997. In case of foreign resident, the income which the taxpayerhas received for deriving from investment or employment in other countries rather than Australia would not be liable for taxation (Barkoczy, 2017). It is apparent from the above that taxation treatment for the income received by taxpayer is mainly a function of tax residency position of taxpayer. Hence, Tax Ruling TR 98/17 along with section 6 (1) of ITAA, 1936 are taken into account to determine the various aspects related to tax residency of taxpayer. In TR 98/17 there are four major tests along with the pre-requisite conditions that must satiate by taxpayer to classify as resident of Australia for tax purposes. It is noteworthy, that the taxpayer who passes at least one test would pass the criteria of residency tests and thus, designated as Australia tax resident (Woellner, 2015). This test can not apply for a taxpayer who is not working for Australian government. It means the applicability of this test is valid for the taxpayer who is working for Australian Government and designated as officer or executive and staying in foreign county because of the instruction extended by the government authorities. Moreover, the second imperative condition is the contribution of taxpayer in certain specific superannuation fund schemes (Barkoczy, 2017). This test cannot be applied for the taxpayer who is permanent resident of Australia. It means the applicability of 183 day test is for foreign resident only. The two pre-requisite conditions of this residency test are intent of foreign resident to make permanent place of abode in Australia (in future) and also should have spent at least 183 days in Australia during the income tax year (Sadiq. et. al, 2016). Resides test is also applicable only for foreign resident and cannot be used for the taxpayer who is designated as permanent resident of Australia. The major aspects related to the foreign resident are citizenship of taxpayer, country of origin, the purpose (professional, educational, private and so on) of the visits to Australia, magnitude of stay, presence of any relationship with Australia and with the overseas country, and social arrangement with Australia on behalf of the taxpayer (Nethercott, Richardson and Devos, 2016). The only residency test applicable for the permanent resident (PR) of Australia is domicile test. The test is used to check the tax residency of taxpayer who is PR of Australia and is bounded to reside in overseas country due to any personal commitment or work. The two main pre-requisite conditions of domicile test are having domicile of Australia (under the provisions of Australian Domicile Act 1982) and the location of permanent place of abode in Australia only. The taxpayer would be recognised as tax resident of Australia, even though the taxpayer has spent significant time in overseas land only if the above two pre-requisite conditions are satisfied by taxpayer. Moreover, IT 2650 comprises of the ket elements related to the decision that during the stay in overseas land the permanent place of abode has shifted or located in Australia only or not. These are variation in the expected stay and actual stay in overseas land, taxpayer liquidate the house located in Australia, taxpayer acquired home in overseas land, having intention to abode further in overseas land, ties with the Australia and so forth(Barkoczy, 2017). Kit is the concerned taxpayer who holds Chilean citizenship and is recognized as permanent resident of Australia and has stayed in overseas land in order to complete the contractual duties which he signed with a United States based company. It is apparent that superannuation test cannot be used because Kit is not working for an Australian government. Further, he is designated as permanent resident and hence 183 day test and resides test are also not valid. Hence, domicile test which is valid when the taxpayer is PR would be taken into account. Applicable Residency Test - Domicile Test It is apparent that Kit is having Australian domicile because he is a PR of Australia. Moreover, under IT 2650, there are sufficient evidences present that indicate that even during the stay in overseas land, his permanent place of abode does not shift from Australia. These evidences include the fact that Kit has a house in Australia where his family lives, his salary account is credited into an Australian bank account only (Westpac bank), Kit neither has any intent to extend the stay in overseas land nor to visit any other foreign country and when he gets one month off from service, he mainly makes a visit to Australia to meet his wife and children or goes on holidays with them in South America. It can be said from the facts that permanent place of abode is in Australia only and hence, both the conditions of domicile test are satiated by taxpayer. In the accordance of domicile test, Kit would be designated as tax resident of Australia and therefore, the income received from overseas sources and Australian sources would bring into consideration for taxation according to the ordinary income tax treatment of section 6-5(2), ITAA 1997. Company with the objective of making high revenue purchased a copper mine. The investors were short in the capital and hence, borrowed money from bank and purchased the mine. The also issued the respective licenced from legal authorities regarding the mining but never started mining on the land because of no working capital. The investors subsequently sold the ownership of mine to another competitor copper mining company with the return of shares(Barkoczy, 2017). The saleable value of shares was significant and hence, handsome revenues were received by investors. Honourable court extended the verdict that the mine was purchased to make revenues not to conduct the mining of copper. The investors took loan from bank for the purchase because they all believed that the ownership of mine would be sold to other company. Therefore, the revenue received from isolated transaction would result in assessable income (Woellner, 2015). Company with the intention of conducting coal mining purchased a large sized mine and respective licenced from government. The coal mining was performed till six decades and it was found that the coal reserves were finished in the mine and hence, further mining would not be efficient then only, the investors stopped the mining on the mine and decided to use the mine for residential and domestic uses. The condition of mine was not suitable for direct use and hence, a significant amount was spent on land for making necessary developments and division. Later on, the plots were sold and attractive revenues were received by investors. The court after taking the subsequent actions of the investors decided that development and division was made on the land so that the mine land could be used because the purpose for which the mine was owned had been efficiently accomplished by the investors (Jade, 2017). Therefore, the revenues received from sale would realisation of capital asset and would not result in assessable income. A beach side land was used by a company for aeration of fishing equipments. Later on, the company was acquired by estate land development companies whose major business was to acquire the land, develop the same and sell it to prospective buyers. After taking the ownership of the company, the new owners decided to use the beach side land for their business process and hence, made subsequent divisions, development and finally sold at prospective buyers at premium prices. The court had rejected the argument of taxpayers that beach side land was a capital asset and hence, would not result the assessable income(CCH, 2017a).Court stated that the capital asset was used to serve their estate development business and hence, would result assessable income only. Taxpayers were the two brothers who had a land which they utilized to start a new cattle business from their available fund. Both the taxpayers were new in the business and hence, were unable to accomplish success in the cattle business. As a result, the business failed in the starting days only(CCH, 2017b)..They had invested a major share of their money and hence, required money to meet their living expenses. The only option open was to earn income from the sale of land. However, they did not want to sell the whole land and thus, made subdivisions on land and sold a significant part to buyer without making any advertisement. The court took the various factors such as necessity of money for family and the intention of taxpayer into consideration and opined that the sale would be classified under realisation of available capital asset and would not result assessable income (Sadiq et. al, 2016). Taxpayer received a land for farming however, his financial condition was not good and hence, he borrowed money to start farming. Taxpayer believed that he would use the farming income to pay the borrowed money. However, in the same year, drought occurred and as a result there was very insignificant income received by taxpayer. The increase in the interest rate made bad impact on his health and he started facing various health related issues. Therefore, he used the income received from farming to divide the land and then liquidated a large portion of land. The remaining portion was kept for farming and the income was employed for health treatment and to pay the outstanding debts (CCH, 2017c). Court decided that the adverse conditions (health problems and increase debt) were the major factors behind the sale and there was no profit driven or business objective of taxpayer. Therefore, the income would not assessable as it was only realisation of capital asset (Woellner,2015) Company was involved in the extraction and marketing of sand from the sand mine. After sometime, when expected gains stopped being received by the company from mining, then they decided to sale mine land. To derive attractive profit, they installed various facilities on land and carried out development works to attract premium investors. The honourable court decided that the purpose of investors behind the sale was purely to enhance the revenues. The various installation and development were the evidences of the investors aim. Therefore, the income would assessable income received from profit in case of isolated transaction (Sadiq et. al, 2016). Taxpayer was having a land which he used for farming. Later on, when he found that the actual market worth of the land was high then he decided to liquidate the land. Using a five block land size, he subsequently made 51 divisions and sold at different time intervals to prospective customers only. He also stopped engaging in farming and instead only participated in the land trading business. In this regards, he also purchased several blocks (Barkoczy, 2017). Court decided that taxpayer was involved in a business activity with the use of the land asset in his business only and hence, the assessable income from ordinary income concept would be taxable (CCH, 2017d). Taxpayers with the aim of making significant revenues acquired a property. The property contained old houses which were reconstructed and thus, resulted in three new houses. Advertisements were made for the houses and finally after a year the houses were sold at their expected prices when they got premium offers. The court decided that as the property was purchased with the purpose of profit only and same had been highlighted in the actions of the taxpayers such as advertisement and searching for premium offers. Therefore, the nature of income would be assessable income from isolated transaction enacted with profit objective (CCH, 2017e). References Barkoczy,S. It not just influences the state of mind, conduct and identity of other individuals yet in addition upgrades a man into a superior individual. Organizational commitment and Job satisfaction Job satisfaction is the consequence of uplifting positive attitude and emotions that a man relates to them in connection to their employment. If the worker is very dedicated towards the work there will be work fulfillment (Temminck, Mearns and Fruhen, 2015).Occupation fulfillment is not associated with how huge the organization is but rather it relies upon how much the worker is keen on the employment and what all would they be able to add to the organization and in self-improvement. Those representatives that are recently working yet are not inspired by their position and exercises they perform, such workers contains negative state of mind towards work and this sort of circumstance is of employment disappointment. Organizational commitment is the association of a representative inside the specific organization (Dhar, 2015).The worker feels associated with the association and there is a feeling of belongingness among the representatives. The representatives enthusiastically contribut e towards the objective of the association and draw in themselves in obtaining quality execution to expand the goodwill of the undertaking. At the point when the representative is submitted towards the association concurrent development of manager, worker and association happen (Blaskova, Bizik and Jankal, 2015). Organizational commitment is proportionate to work fulfillment, if the worker is happy with their occupation and profoundly energetic to perform better each day then it is probably going to remain focused on the business and their association. The disappointed representative could never hold fast to the association for the more drawn out timeframe .Representative responsibility contains three characteristics and that are affective, continuance and normative commitment. Continuance responsibility is a positive duty which is mentally identified with the association. Continuation duty is worried about the cost that is caused on leaving the association, as nature called it as the negative responsibility that holds the representative and in conclusion the standardizing duty includes saw commitment that has suggestions on the association and they are certain in nature (Bissing?Olson, Iyer, Fielding and Zacher, 2013). For example, in an organization where the staff comprise greater part of male hopeful over female competitors and benefit to the male is given then the female workers couldn't connect themselves with the association which loses the dedication and holding with the association and disappointment increments. This may bring about a high turnover of female representatives in the association. The female competitors were far more productive than the male hopefuls and this may bring about loss of the organization's effectiveness because of the segregation procedure going on. Occupation fulfillment is critical for the improvement of the association, if there is absence of employment fulfillment there are chances that low authoritative responsibility will be there. The mentality towards work ought to likewise be focused if the representative's state of mind towards the work is certain then high occupation fulfillment will be recorded which would finally prompt better hierarchical duty. In this way endeavors should be made to fulfill representatives that should be possible by expanding the enthusiasm to work which would upgrade the enthusiasm towards the employment and proper preparing project will naturally enhance the dedication towards the company (Canrinus, Helms-Lorenz, Beijaard, Buitink and Hofman, 2012). Responsibility of the manager to enhance commitment It is observed that organizational duty and employment fulfillment is interrelated. If the representative is happy with the occupation then it is seen that worker concentrates on responsibility towards the work. It is the responsibility of the manager to improve the working example of the representatives. The manager should motivate the representatives to work productively then the dedication can be improved of the worker towards the work. Inspiration is additionally considered as a vital component to improve the level of duty of the representative towards the association. Motivation improves the capability of the representatives and furthermore upgrades the profits of the firm. Duty of the staff can be upgraded when the representatives are inspired by the directors to work with dedication (Donagan,2017).It is seen by thinking about the present situation that most recent innovation finishes half of the work in rapid way. In this manner Human resource are basic pieces of the associati on. Nobody can replace the work done by Humans. Along these lines to upgrade the aptitudes and capability of the workers the organization should give legitimate preparing to the representatives with the goal that they can perform best to accomplish objectives and targets. The fundamental duty of the director is to execute the motivational hypothesis in powerful way with the goal that the representatives can be held in the association. The efforts that are made by the managers result in the association duty and in work fulfillment. So the managers so concentrate on enhancing the capability of the employees so that the organization can easily achieve goals and targets. It is essential to take into consideration the performance made by each and every employee, so that corrective steps can be taken to improve it in effective manner (Truelove, Carrico, Weber, Raimi and Vandenbergh, 2014). Reform Judaism In The 19th Century Essays - Reform Judaism

Reform Judaism in the 19th Century The most extreme precursor to the Reform movement was a man by the name of Samuel Holdheim. He was born in 1806 in Kempo in the province of Posen. At a young age he studied at a yeshiva and received a Talmudic education. He began to study German and secular subjects after his marriage to a woman with a modern education. After their divorce several years later, he began studying at the University of Prague and Berlin and received a doctorate from the University of Leipzig. Following service in Frankfurt -Am-Oder he became a Landesrabbiner or chief Rabbi of Mecklenberg-Schewerin. In the year 1847 he became the rabbinate of a reform congregation in Berlin . At this point he already disapproved of most liberal Rabbis and came to be known as the most exemplar of reform Rabbis in all of Europe ( 241) The question comes to mind as to what exactly triggered this different belief in Judaism which differed significantly from previous tenents. It started during the time of the French revolution, a time when European Jews were (for the first time) recognized as citizens of the countries in which they lived in. Ghettos were being abolished, special badges were no longer required and Jews could dress the way they wanted, settle were they pleased and work the occupations they desired. Many Jews settled outside of Jewish districts, and began to live like their neighbors and speak the language of the land. They went to public schools and began to neglect Jewish Studies and forget about he Shulchan Aruch. In 1815, after Napoleon's defeat, Jews lost the rights of citizenship in many countries. Many Jews converted to Christianity in order to retain those rights. Many thoughtful Jews were concerned about this. They realized that many of these changes took place not because of a dislike for Judaism, but in order to obtain better treatment. Many rabbis believed that the way to address this was to force Jews to give up public schools and universities. This didn't work. Rabbis suggested that observance might have to be changed in order to appeal to the Jew living the modern world. They realized that every now and then old practices and new ones were introduced, resulting in a different lifestyle then 4000 or even 2000 years previously. They fathomed that these changes often made life easier for the Jew. They concluded that in order to make Judaism attractive to all Jews this change had to continue. A group of Rabbis assembled in Germany, and changes began, thus developed the start of Reform Judaism. Holdheim a reform Rabbi himself felt that the Jews living during his time period should change the laws given to them at Mt. Sinai and the halacha that the Talmud and Mishna state. Holdheim believed that the laws of the Torah and the Talmud that were in effect when the Jews had their own country and government have lost their legitimacy. Judaism now had to be in accord with both the letter and the spirit of laws of the nations they were living among. Even the laws of the Torah whose source was God had to be regarded as valid for certain times and places as he said " with the change of the circumezces and conditions of life for which God once gave those laws , the laws themselves cease to be operative, that they shall be observed no longer because they no longer can be observed". Thus , Holdheim said that the biblical and Talmudic laws concerning marriage, divorce and personal status are no longer relevant and the Jews in these cases should be ruled by the state government (Sasson 835). He concluded that laws between man and man should be left to the rule of the state they lived in but questions of prayer and religious institutions should be left to the Rabbis because prayer was the most important part of religious life. Holdheim denied the authority of the Talmudic dicta, the oral law. He says that it was written by the hand of man but was divinely inspired. His conclusion was that Jewish life should be based on spiritual and ethical guidance of the Torah. Even though

Not every employer will need the same information in a sample essay. However, this type of application writing is a very important part of your employment process. The key is to remember that your sample essay will be used for two purposes. The first is to demonstrate your knowledge of the basics of business. The second is to demonstrate your personality, in general. There are many different ways to learn about these two important components of your application. There are also many different formats you can follow when writing this type of essay. By writing it yourself, you may choose to follow some of the information you read in this article.Start with a basic outline of the information you need to include in your resume. This outline should include both the factual information and the pe rsonal traits of your personality. This outline is critical to the overall success of your essay. It is much easier to summarize your knowledge in a few sentences than to reconstruct the essay after you have gone back and added material.Once you have included your overview in your sample essay, then it is time to break down the information into smaller parts. You will want to identify your education and experience. If you have a professional background that can be verified, then you can include this information in your resume.Your experience is of course a very important aspect of your personal background. The key to writing a successful sample essay is to make sure you know what is important to the employer.

Analysis Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words - 16

Analysis - Essay Example The writer also deduces that the â€Å"sublimity and intrinsic dignity that lies in the command in duty† is evident, is not subjective, and does not go against the law. The reasons provided support the thesis by providing the two sides of binary deduction in the thesis. Since the thesis averred that duty should not be derived from human characteristics but from practical unconditional necessity; the passage explains the consequences when duty is derived from the two perspectives. When it is derived from human characteristics, it results to subjective principle, but when derived from unconditional necessity of action, it bears an objective principle. This way, the reader is able to compare and contrast the outcome of the two approaches. The passages plays a significant role because the reader is able to discern that sometimes we act because of being compelled by human characteristics; however, we should act with a sense of good faith, and that is the true sense of

Reflection Paper Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words - 6

Reflection Paper - Essay Example This also creates an ambience where markets, labour and communities are able to function in harmony. Organizational responsibility also involves social investment which has become a necessary part of any business. Transparency of business in the social and environmental context has helped to gain public trust and recognition. Today, organizational responsibility has a much wider implication than merely providing jobs and contributing to the economy through taxes and employment. The concept of organisation responsibilities has been widening over the years. According to surveys, developing a good corporate socially responsible strategy can deliver real business benefits. Three steps are involved in the process of making ethical decisions. These are: moral awareness, moral judgment and ethical behavior. Moral awareness involves identifying the dilemma in ethics. Moral judgment is the acumen required to decide between the right and the wrong. Lastly, ethical behavior means choosing the right course of action. Corporate reputation is the esteem with which an organisation is held by its internal and external stakeholders. The stakeholders base their notion on the company’s past actions, profitability and future behavior. Very often, organizations overlook the importance of having a good corporate reputation and concentrate on other urgencies. But, this does not help in the long run. It is seen that organizations which have focused more on building their own goodwill have succeeded more than others. They have considered their â€Å"goodwill† to be the most valuable asset of their organisation. Some of the benefits of a good corporate reputation are as follows. Economic responsibilities, legal responsibilities, ethical responsibilities and philanthropic responsibilities are the four components of the corporate social responsibility pyramid. Divisibility Argument :: essays research papers

DIVISIBILITY ARGUMENT This paper will discuss the dualism’s Divisibility Argument. This argument relies on Leibniz’s Law and uses a different property to prove the distinctness of brain states of mental states. Mary, who is a materialist, presents several objections to that argument. Her main objection corresponds to the first/third-person approach. She believes that Dave presents that argument only from the first-person approach, which is introspection, and totally disregards the third-person approach, which is observation of another mind. Mary’s objections will follow by the Dave’s response on them from the dualist’s point of view. The purpose of the Divisibility Argument is to prove that mental states are different from the brain states. My body, which includes my brain, is divisible. However, I cannot conceive of my mind as divisible. Therefore, my mind is distinct from any part of my body. Descartes was the first who established the Divisibility Argument. He held that the two components which constitute man had an independent origin and are of a fundamentally different nature. The body is divisible, since it can be separated for example, my leg or my hand can be cut off; my brain can be cut on half. However, the idea of the divisible mind is inconceivable. This argument relies on the Leibniz’s Law. It is a principle about identity, which says, â€Å"if an object or event X is identical with an object or event Y, then X and Y have all of the same properties.† So if X and Y have any different properties, then X can not be identical with Y. Divisibility Argument uses a different property to prove the distinctness of brain states and mental states: the property of being indivisible. In this case, the mind has a property and brain lacks it. The body can be divided, however, it cannot be done with the mind. Mary has several objections to this argument. First, she believes that the mind is an entity, which is composed of several mental states: thoughts, beliefs, memories, desires, etc. Mary strongly disagrees with Descartes’ claim that the mind employs itself in its different properties: willing, desiring, understanding, and so on. Secondly, she clarifies the meaning of the word â€Å"conceive† in the Dave’s argument. The term â€Å"conceive† might mean either â€Å"imagine† or â€Å"understand.† Imagining literally involves â€Å"forming an image of† or â€Å"picturing† in one’s mind, whereas understanding is more â€Å"conceptual† and does not require the ability to picture something.

Save the Planet Earth

Our planet is in great danger. For the last one hundred or so years, the people of earth have wasted and misused the natural recourses of earth. Several plans have been developed to stop the abuse of earth. Some of these plans I will discuss in this essay, many of which can be executed by any one. Environmental problems have become so complex that many individuals feel they can have no effect on them.Problems like oil spills, hazardous waste, loss of rain forests, endangered species, acid rain, the ozone layer, the municipal waste crisis can feel out of our control. At the very least, these problems require group and corporate action or government intervention. However, there are some things the individual can control. Our waste reduction and recycling activities can make a difference. That's why so many communities began voluntary recycling programs. There are some household items that are dangerous if they are just thrown away with the regular garbage these items can damage the envi ronment and injure plant and animal life some of these may include moth balls, spot removers, aerosol cans, fluorescent light tubes and shoe polish. Your local waste management agency has information on how to properly dispose of these items.A compost bin may be set up in your yard. Compost bins return plant and some food materials to the soil through decomposition so it can be used as a natural soil additive, called compost. Compost improves soil texture, increases the ability of soil to absorb oxygen and water. Compost also suppresses weed growth and reduces the need to add chemicals and pesticides to plants, which may be harmful to the environment.Keeping recycle bens in the kitchen may help to stop people from accidentally throwing into the trash an item that could have been recycled. Some recyclable items include glass, paper, and most types of mettle. You want to be sure that glass, paper and mettle are all separated into different bins. Once these bins are full of recyclable materials they can be given to your local recycle center.Solar panels are a series of mirrors that transform sunlight into solar energy. Solar energy can help heat water and power home appliances. Solar energy is a great source of clean, non-polluting energy. The home is not the only place wear people can pitch in and help the environment. School playgrounds can use recyclable materials for play equipment and to make the play ground safe for the children. Old rubber tires can be made into a recreation area where kids can crawl in and out. Sports coaches may also use old tires, by having the kids run through them, to test the kids stamina and agility. Jungle gyms, slides and swing sets can be made from recycled mettles. The school and public libraries are great examples of the reuse of materials. Books can be barrowed, read and returned instead of every one who wants to read a certain book going and purchasing a copy. The reuse of these books saves thousands of trees that would be used to make copies of books. The library also offers computers that can be used for research, by using the Internet, by taping the local or global newspaper web sights and other research centers around the world. Receiving information through the Internet saves paper and energy consumption is reduced.By taking school buses or car pools to school instead of individual vehicles, students can not only save fuel but also reduce both traffic and air pollution. People may also try to invest in electronic vehicles, which do not pollute. People should make sure to keep maintenance up on their vehicles to prevent unnecessary toxins from entering the environment. The idea of a landfill is a great one, but it won’t work if people continue to believe it is a place for all trash. A landfill is a big divot dug out of the earth for garbage disposal. We need to make sure we don’t put chemicals or non-biodegradable substances into these landfills because they are harmful to plants and anima ls, they may also contaminate our drinking water. A few of these chemicals include antifreeze, insecticide, batteries and Styrofoam, for proper disposal of these items contact your local waste management agency. You can help save natural resources by taking your old belongings that are no longer needed to a second hand store or the Salvation Army. A second hand store is a place where people can purchase donated items at a cheaper price than if they were to buy it brand new. The Salvation Army is much like a second hand store, but the items are free. Most items found at a second hand store or The Salvation Army are articles of clothing. The benefit to donating old items is that when people find what they need at a second hand store or The Salvation Army fewer items are manufactured which means you are saving natural recourses. We can help, over the last twenty to thirty years we have been trying every thing in our power to conserve energy and natural resources, many plans have been dev eloped as to what should be done all of which are very good ones. The problem with these plans is that not every one contributes to the efforts to reduce pollution and waste, in fact most of the people I know believe recycling is a waste of time and they by them selves cannot make the difference. In some cases, I have found myself questioning my efforts. However, it is still important that we don’t quit. If only every one in every home would decide to do their part and help to keep our air clean, our water unpolluted and our wild life safe. The Earth is our home and we need to protect it.
